The brief asked for a home that felt rooted in its setting yet thoroughly modern in function. We opened the central hall to draw daylight deep into the plan and used soft plaster tones to let the restored mouldings take centre stage. Custom cabinetry conceals storage without disturbing the clean lines, and tactile textiles add quiet comfort to each gathering space.
Throughout the apartment, materials were chosen for longevity and honest character: brushed oak, aged brass and natural stone. Considered task and ambient lighting shape each room after dark, while a restrained colour story keeps the historical features front and centre across the entire layout.
